LOS ANGELES, CA, October 20, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- ENTTree announces the appointment of Chaewon Suh as Lead Editor for "One Night with a K-Pop Idol Star," an upcoming two-episode scripted web drama exploring the unexpected connection between a K-pop superstar and a young advertising professional.

Written by Yoojin Kang and set against the energy of New York City, the romantic comedy brings together two people from vastly different worlds for an unforgettable night. Combining humor, romance, and a glimpse behind the glamour of celebrity, the story explores what it means to be seen beyond the image others expect.

Suh brings editorial experience across music videos, independent narrative films, and serialized digital drama. Her credits include music video projects featuring NewJeans, Red Velvet, NCT WISH, and Hearts2Hearts. Her background in artist performance and narrative editing will inform the production's blend of comedy and character-driven storytelling.

As Lead Editor, Suh will lead picture editing for both episodes, shaping story structure, performance selections, pacing, and continuity in collaboration with the director and producer. Her work will focus on building chemistry between the leads, refining comic timing, and developing the emotional progression of their relationship.

Suh's responsibilities will encompass:

Editorial Preparation: Reviewing scripts and available footage, establishing media organization and episode timelines, and coordinating editorial workflows and creative review.

Picture Editing: Making principal take selections, assembling successive cuts, and refining performance, romantic tension, scene transitions, and narrative rhythm.

Director and Producer Collaboration: Implementing creative revisions, strengthening character development and emotional beats, and maintaining continuity across both episodes.

Picture Lock and Final Delivery: Preparing approved picture edits for sound, color, and visual-effects turnover, coordinating finishing elements, and checking final episode deliverables.

ENTTree is led by Joon Hwan Choi, a veteran film executive and producer whose career helped shape a defining era of modern Korean cinema. As head of Korean film investment and subsequently the film business division at CJ Entertainment, Choi was involved in the production and distribution of hundreds of Korean films, including the blockbuster "Haeundae," Park Chan-wook's "Thirst," "Tazza: The High Rollers," and Kim Jee-woon's "The Good, the Bad, the Weird." His career spans the commercial hits and internationally acclaimed filmmaking that expanded Korean cinema's reach. He later served as president of CJ E&M America before founding ENTTree.

Suh's editorial engagement is scheduled from November 2026 through June 2027, progressing from preparation and assembly through director and producer revisions, picture lock, and finishing coordination.
